Beware The Darkness is a contemporary African dark fantasy story set in a Nigerian boarding school.

Beware The Darkness Vol. 2: Where Darkness Lurks

Shiloh Michaels has never believed in the existence of Nigerian gods. He does not believe in curses or superstitions, most especially when they are propagated by his long-standing nemesis and school bully, Kehinde Kester. But when, in a strange twist of fate, Shiloh accidentally touches a cursed tree, he soon finds himself and all he believed in turned on its head, leaving him with only Kehinde to help him make sense of it all.

As the dark echoes of a traumatic past bleed into his present, dangerous secrets he has worked hard to keep hidden threaten to come to light. Secrets Shiloh would die to keep buried. But shadows provide the perfect home for monsters, and from the darkness of his past, a demon comes calling.
